Poured Pottery Workshop

Join Sally on a two hour programme creating pots! Explore the endless possibilities of using a sustainably produced composite material to create a series of unique, personalised homeware.

Rather than using clay, a wheel and a kiln, I will teach you how to create beautiful pots using an eco and environmentally-friendly fusion of clay powder, polymer and water which, when mixed together, can be poured into moulds. We will use either jesmonite, aquacast or hydroflow materials.

During the two hour session you will learn how to work with this composite medium and understand it’s behaviour and characteristics.

You will learn to apply colours to create a unique and unusual effect.

Your handmade products and will be yours to take home with you at the end of the session.

If you are looking for a new and exciting way to express your creativity, then this will be the perfect medium for you. No experience or previous pottery or painting skills are necessary – just come along and enjoy creating something totally amazing and unique.

All materials you need will be provided for you.

Our workshops are held at The Inspired Hub, Hampton, TW12. The hub is immediately opposite Hampton Station, has plenty of parking and is close to the 111 and 216 bus stops.
