Alcohol ink art is a fun and rewarding abstract art form that can be enjoyed by people of all skill levels. Join me on an introductory two hour programme to explore the incredible behaviour and beauty of alcohol inks and to learn techniques to turn these vibrant inks into stunning abstract art work.

During the two hour session you will learn what alcohol ink is, how to work safely with it and understand it’s behaviour and characteristics. From blending and flowing to blowing, you will master techniques to manipulate and play the inks. You will learn to apply and blend different colours and metallics to create a unique and maximum impact.

I will teach you how to use different tools to apply alcohol ink, such as brushes, sponges, sprays, drippers and toothpicks. You will have the opportunity to experiment with each tool to see what works best for you.

Your artwork will be created on a variety of substrates to showcase your new skills and will be yours to take home with you at the end of the session.

Alcohol ink is a very forgiving medium, the more you learn how to experiment, the more amazing the art you will create.
