Whilst it is perfectly feasible to make liquid soaps, body washes and shampoos from scratch (we make these products on our Making Hair Care Products course), it can be a lengthy, muscle building task.
Many beautiful, wholesome and natural liquid soaps and related products actually avoid the 'made from scratch' saponification process and are created using surfactants derived from coconut, olive and other vegetable oils.
This half day workshop enables you to try a variety of solid, powdered and liquid surfactants to make two liquid soap products from a choice of shampoo, body wash, liquid hand soap, baby wash, anitbacterial kitchen spray, dish washing liquid or similar.
